Loosely based around a fictional FA Cup replay, the three main narrators each find themselves struggling to conquer compelling situations. Author John King has hailed the novel as ‘a brilliant debut.’
- Having founded PUSH in March 2013, Joe’s literary fanzine grew into one of the most important publications of its time. Featuring working class fiction, poetry, artwork and photography as well as interviews with artists and writers that included; Thurston Moore, Matt Johnson. Roddy Doyle, David Peace, Jah Wobble, John King, Youth and Linton Kwesi Johnson. The fanzine sold over 8,000 copies. The last issue was published in October 2016.
- Joe also produced the West Ham fanzine, 5MANAGERS. Comedian and TV personality Phill Jupitus said it was the best West Ham fanzine since the late 1980s legendary, Fortunes Always Hiding. While following a similar format and style to PUSH, the fanzine included contributions from an array of talented West Ham supporters as well as exclusive interviews that included: Frank McAvennie, Mark Ward, Frank Lampard Senior, John Sissons and Irvine Welsh.
- When both fanzines were no longer in publication, Joe began writing Hudson Lamb Is Innocent.
